Founded by a group of fashion enthusiasts, Kaftanize was born out of a shared love for the diverse tapestry of Indian fashion and a desire to bring it to a global audience. Our Promoter
Shilpa Agarwal
She is the heart and the brain behind the Kaftanize brand. As a woman herself, she could empathize with the pressures, the pulls and pushes that women experienced, between looking good and feeling comfortable at the same time. Having raised two children herself, soon after marriage, she understood how ‘me time’ was for women- a time they could relax, be themselves and yet be comfortably chic. From this experiences was born the idea of leisure and loungewear that were comfortable, yet chic and fashionable all day long, and Kaftanize. Her philosophy is that a woman is after all, God’s best creation. Why can’t she be beautifully dressed and comfortable at the same time? Why not, indeed!
